Program Director

Stephanie Gamboa embarked on her journey in the Mental Health field in 2016, starting as a case manager. Through hard work and dedication, she climbed the ranks to become a Program Manager before eventually assuming the role of Program Director at Legacy Healing California in 2023.
Stephanie’s passion for helping individuals struggling with addiction stems from her childhood experiences. Having witnessed her mother’s battle with addiction, which tragically led to her passing in 2008. Stephanie felt a deep desire to make a difference in the lives of others facing similar challenges. Her personal experiences inspired her to pursue a career in the addiction field, driven by the opportunity to provide support and assistance to those in need.

To equip herself with the knowledge and skills necessary to make a meaningful impact, Stephanie pursued higher education. She earned a bachelor’s degree in human services with a concentration in addictions, laying the foundation for her understanding of addiction treatment and recovery. Additionally, she obtained a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, further expanding her expertise in mental health care.

As a Program Director, Stephanie is committed to delivering quality patient care. She embodies qualities of empathy, sympathy, and a strong work ethic, ensuring that each individual receives the support and guidance they need on their journey to recovery. Stephanie’s dedication to her work and her genuine compassion for others make her a valued member of the Legacy Healing California team.
