Fighting a New Battle at Home
In 2020, more than 6,000 veterans lost their battle with mental health, and tragically ended their own lives. The suicide rate for veterans is more than 57% higher than other Americans of the same age and gender. This is a tragedy that Legacy Healing Center is determined to help put an end to.
Many of these suicides are the result of the deadly downward spiral that can result when mental health issues like PTSD and substance use disorders like opioid addiction join forces. Legacy’s dual diagnosis program is designed to address both mental health and substance use disorders simultaneously, so that you can fully heal.

Veterans Drug Rehab FAQs
There are numerous drug treatment options available for veterans. For example, detox programs help patients get through withdrawal safely and comfortably. Inpatient programs require patients to reside at a treatment center, allowing them to fully separate themselves from triggers and underlying causes of addiction. Outpatient programs allow patients to reside off-campus, while coming to a facility several times a week for treatment, which allows patients to continue meeting responsibilities. Aftercare programs help patients readjust to life outside of rehab.
