Dana Gonzalez

Primary Therapist

Dana Gonzalez is a Clinical Social Worker with experience in Substance Abuse. Her passion stems from her own personal experience in recovery. Dana has been in recovery since July of 2011. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University with honors with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Social Work. She has worked in the substance abuse field since she was six months clean of addiction. Her goal is always to cultivate a culture of ethics, positive attitude, empathy, and values. Dana has helped individuals change their perspectives by challenging their thinking by utilizing her client’s strength and wisdom. Her evidenced-based interventions are Cognitive behavioral therapy, Solution focused, or MI approaches at Legacy Healing Center. Her hope is that she will make an impact not only in the lives of the clients that Legacy treats, but also provide an opportunity for educational discourse, awareness, and an overall understanding of behavioral healthcare and Substance abuse in the community in which Legacy serves.
