Angela Maupin

Lead Group Facilitator

Angela obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Addiction and Recovery in 2019 and continued her education to earn her master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2022. She believes that approaching each client with compassion, empathy, and a foundation for open communication encourages success and keeps anybody from feeling alone in their recovery process. She utilizes several therapeutic modalities for both group and individual sessions including acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and solution-focused techniques. She has a passion for helping the individuals that she works with to move toward a life worth living and believes that everyone is worthy and deserving of a life in recovery.
