Joseph Priolo

Primary Therapist

Joseph was born and raised in Elizabeth, NJ, moving to the Greater Philadelphia area in 2020. Joseph has been with Legacy Healing Center since January 2022. He graduated from Rutgers University with a BASW in 2020. Joseph earned a master’s degree in social work in the Advanced Standing program from Fordham University in 2021. He is a licensed social worker and a clinical alcohol and drug counselor (LCADC). Joseph is certified in DBT and Trauma Skills.

Joseph transitioned from a lengthy career in construction to behavioral health work in 2016. He was drawn to the field after being personally affected by addiction. Joseph says watching clients grow and seeing that “light” back in their eyes is what he finds most fulfilling about his work. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and pets, performing, watching live music, and reading.
