Daniel Maurer

Primary Therapist

Dan is a primary therapist at Legacy Healing Center. He is from New Jersey and has over thirteen years of experience in helping individuals who suffer from addiction and mental health disorders. Dan obtained a BA of Psychology from Rowan University and an MA in Clinical Counseling from Eastern University. Dan is dually licensed as a professional counselor and a drug and alcohol counselor, along with being a certified clinical supervisor. He has a wide range of experiences helping others including years of experience offering individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, supervising other therapists, and directing a clinical program. Dan operates from a person-centered perspective and utilizes a variety of evidenced based therapeutic modalities, especially CBT, SFT, and MI.
