Baltimore VA Medical Center meeting
Are you a veteran that has struggled with an addiction to drugs? The Baltimore VA Medical Center hosts NA meetings every Tuesday at 5 pm. This meeting is a discussion and participation meeting, so you’re encouraged to share throughout the session; however, if you don’t feel comfortable, you are more than welcome just to sit and listen.

If you are new to the idea of attending NA meetings, the Greater Hope Worship Center may be a great meeting to initially attend. This meeting was specifically designed for new and beginner members. When you come to this meeting, you will undoubtedly meet a group of people that will want to help you on a personal level so that you continue to remain steadfast and strong in your recovery. This meeting takes place on Mondays at 7:30 pm.

Understandably, you may feel more comfortable speaking to other people suffering from addiction who are of your own gender. The meeting that takes place every Friday at 7 pm at the Union Chapel United Methodist Church is a woman’s only group. This is an open meeting that also features a speaker.

While there are multiple Narcotics Anonymous meetings that you can find in the Baltimore area, there are also several Alcohol Anonymous (AA) meetings that you can attend in and around Baltimore almost any time during the day or night. Intergroup Services
Often, the end of your day can be the most difficult. When you’re done with work, you may feel like you have nothing better to do so in the past; you may have turned to alcohol. The Intergroup Services group can be the perfect addition to the end of your day. This group is always welcoming new members and is classified as a step meeting which means that their discussions will revolve around working through the 12 steps of recovery. This meeting takes place on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm.

Your lunch break is a perfect time to attend a meeting. It’s an excellent way to break up your day and help you to focus on your recovery during the day.
