Drug addiction can take a toll on your mentally and physically. Many substance abusers sadly feel as though there is no way out of feeling the sadness and despair that often comes along with addiction. Through our inpatient drug rehab program, the professionals at Legacy Healing Center give you the tools you need to remodel your life and learn to live without the harmful influence of drugs.
The first step in our treatment process is the initial intake and evaluation. This is an essential part of your treatment because it helps us determine a variety of important factors including your drug of choice as well as the frequency of your addiction and the last time you consumed the drug. This information will assist us in making the decision as to whether you should begin your journey by going through our detox program.
Detox gives your body the chance to remove any drug influence under the watchful eye of our trained medical team. This process usually takes three to seven days. Once you are done with detox, you can begin working with one of our counselors to settle on which treatment program is best for you.
The length of your stay in rehab is dependent on a variety of factors. Although we always recommend that our patients take part in a long-term program, we understand that sometimes that is not always possible which is why we offer rehab programs as short as 30 days and as long as 90 days.
Regardless of which program you ultimately choose and how long the rehab will last in Fort Lauderdale, it’s critical that you put your mental and physical health first when it comes to your recovery. Our team is ready and willing to walk you through the various advantages of our programs to ensure that you feel comfortable during your time at our facility.
Our 30-day inpatient rehab program provides you with the basis of developing long-term sobriety. We understand that many patients may be hesitant to commit to a longer program for a variety of reasons. Sometimes an attendee cannot pledge to a longer rehab stay due to responsibilities associated with work or their family while many other times patients may view rehab as limiting their freedom.
There are numerous benefits of attending this type of program. First and foremost, a 30-day program provides you with the opportunity to begin to change your habits and start to understand the root cause of your addiction.
It’s important to remember that if you determine that you want to continue treatment past 30 days, you can always speak to one of our counselors to adjust your recovery plan. Our goal is to help you feel safe and confident in your journey toward long-term sobriety.
60-day treatment allows you to expand on the important information you gathered during your first 30 days. Our 60-day program gives you more of an opportunity to take part in therapy sessions and make connections with other patients that could turn out to be a valuable support system. We offer a mix of group therapy and one on one therapy which helps you build relationships with other people in recovery and our counselors.
Opting to go through a 90-day long-term inpatient program is ideal regardless of the severity of your addiction. This form of treatment allows your mind and body to begin to recover from the effects of drug abuse and gives you the time you need to begin to develop healthy habits.
Regardless of which rehab program you opt to enroll in, we strongly recommend that you consider attending our Aftercare Addiction program. Our Aftercare Addiction program provides rehab alumni with the opportunity to continue to grow and develop their plan for sobriety. One of the focal points of the program is to help rehab graduates connect with one another and build a support community. Our team offers different types of support groups including a 12-step fellowship as well as therapy. We also organize different fun activities throughout the year to make it fun and easy to engage in sober friendly events. We keep you in the loop of when we host beach days, picnics and sporting events.
Although taking the time to focus on your recovery in rehab is essential, it is also just as important to learn more about yourself including your likes and your dislikes. An excellent way to do that is by visiting the incredible array of sober friendly venues in the Fort Lauderdale area.
