Benefits of 30, 60, and 90-Day Rehabs

Our unsurpassed clinical care at Legacy Healing Center lets clients rest easy knowing that our trained staff will be with the clients and their families through each part of the treatment process, making sure everyone gets the support and help they need. The different lengths of rehabilitation programs are decided by taking a look at the client and their initial evaluation to consider some of the following aspects:

– Age of client
– Physical health
– Possible presence of co-occurring mental disorders
– Severity of addiction
– Length and type of addiction the client is struggling with

While we are unable to make specific answers related to the length of treatment time until an evaluation has been completed, we state that generally, at least a 30-day program is recommended for any client receiving treatment. A longer time may be advised, which means these clients are given even more time to focus on recovery in a safe and healthy environment. Our different program lengths, 30, 60, or 90 days, meet our diverse clients’ varying needs.

Here is a general breakdown of what each of the lengths of rehab generally looks like for our clients:

30-Day Rehab – A month-long rehab program is an intensive treatment program that lasts for 30 days and includes all the elements that an effective treatment program can provide. These critical elements include a medically-assisted detox, behavioral therapies according to the individual’s needs, and holistic healing programs.

60-Day Rehab – A two-month-long rehab program at Legacy Healing Center provides individuals all the benefits as the 30-day program. However, on top of that, clients can use the extra time needed to dedicate themselves to long-term sobriety goals. When more time is spent in a program, individuals can establish sober habits and work on skills required to prevent relapse and future use.

90-Day Long-Term Rehab – Staying in a 90-day rehab program offers the same elements as the 30-day program. These include the medically-assisted detox, behavioral therapies, and holistic healing programs and is geared towards severe addictions. The length of this type of program gives patients in the program a significant amount of time to focus on long-term recovery from substance abuse. Once this program is completed, individuals can maintain sobriety through alumni events, a personal sober coach, and dry social engagements.

What Happens After Rehab?

At Legacy, we understand that returning to normal life after rehab can be challenging but also the start of something good. We make sure that our clients are supported in the best way possible after completing treatment at our facility. To make sure of this, we provide some different options to our clients to be able to participate in continued support programs. These programs come in the form of either outpatient services or participating in aftercare programs.

Our unique aftercare programs in an outpatient setting have been created to support our clients for whatever they may need after completing treatment. This could mean that clients need to help maintain accountability and stay focused on their post-rehab sobriety. This also permits clients to attend group meetings and events to help foster support from the community.

Here is a breakdown of two types of aftercare programs that we offer at Legacy Healing Center:

– Outpatient Program: An outpatient program is a program that can begin after completing an intensive outpatient program. The program is non-residential and specifically for individuals who have fully integrated back into society. The outpatient program is highly flexible and offers one hour weekly therapy sessions in addition to other recovery activities. This type of program is here to provide individuals with the help they need to cope with inevitable bumps on the road and ensure that they are their best selves.

– Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP): Intensive Outpatient Program is a program that helps individuals who have completed a partial hospitalization program or another form of an inpatient treatment program. This type of program helps individuals adapt to life responsibilities and reintegrate back into society, sober. IOP is a program that helps vulnerable individuals face challenges in adapting to sober daily life or are susceptible to relapse. The intensive outpatient program offers community housing for those who want it with a group and individual therapy as well as 12-step meetings and sober social activities. Patients who participate in an IOP will receive a minimum of nine hours of clinical treatment per week with a flexible schedule to ensure that responsibilities outside of therapy are met.
