However, recovery is a process, and the more you commit yourself to that process, the better the chance of achieving long-term sobriety.

Alcohol Rehab Centers for Trenton Residents

Alcohol is seemingly everywhere we look in our society. When you turn the television on, you will likely see an advertisement for alcohol within a matter of minutes. Additionally, when you drive down the street, you will probably notice several liquor stores and bars, and restaurants that readily serve alcohol starting mid-morning. As a result, it can be tough to overcome an addiction to alcohol due to the fact that it is so readily available.

Legacy Healing Center provides you with a safe environment where you can exclusively focus on your recovery without outside temptations. This is especially true if you decide to enroll in our inpatient program. Through participation in various forms of therapy and interaction with other clients, you will be able to identify the events in your life that may have triggered your addiction. You will also learn what you need to do to avoid falling back into temptation once you are done with your program.

Addiction Treatment Centers
for Trenton, NJ Residents

There are multiple reasons why our clients decide to come to Legacy Healing for their care. Our personalized approach to recovery is something that our facility is well-known for. There are many decisions concerning your care that you will need to make before you begin treatment. First and foremost, you will need to decide whether you will work through our inpatient program or our outpatient program.

Our inpatient treatment program provides you with the round-the-clock support and care that you may need during the first few weeks of your recovery. You will have the peace of mind of knowing that our team is readily available to assist you with any of your needs, as well as having access to our luxurious amenities. This includes a warm bed to sleep in every night, healthy food to eat, and a continuous focus on your well-being.

In some cases, a client can’t commit to our inpatient program due to personal or professional responsibilities. These clients would still greatly benefit from enrolling in our outpatient program. You will still participate in the same forms of therapy that you would during our inpatient program. However, clients that decide to go through this program will participate in their treatment plan during set days and times throughout the week.

When a client first reaches out to Legacy Healing, one of the first things they ask our recovery specialist about is what type of therapy they will experience during their time at Legacy. One of the primary forms of therapy that you will participate in during the course of your treatment is group therapy. Group therapy typically follows the model of a traditional 12-step meeting. During group therapy sessions, you will have the chance to share what you think about specific topics associated with recovery, addiction, and sobriety. In turn, you will have the opportunity to listen to other people’s thoughts in your group. These interactions can help you to grow in your understanding of these critical topics.

Individual therapy is another example of counseling that will take an important role in your recovery plan. There may be many aspects of your life that you simply do not feel comfortable talking about in front of other people. Individual therapy also referred to as one-on-one counseling, can help you talk about these painful or uncomfortable memories in a personalized setting with a team member. Individual counseling is also an excellent time to talk about your current treatment plan. If any adjustments need to be made to your plan, we can help you coordinate those changes during these sessions.

It’s not uncommon that a person struggling with addiction may also be struggling with mental illness. Unfortunately, there is still a negative stigma associated with mental illness that may hold back a client from truly understanding the mental illness that they may be combatting. Behavioral therapy can help to address both your addiction as well as a mental illness. Our goal will be to show you that mental illness and addiction are not something you should be ashamed of. Instead, with the right help, you can go on to live a healthy and prosperous life.

When you are in the midst of addiction, the relationships that you have with your family will undoubtedly suffer. Your loved ones will likely pull away from you because they can’t bear to see you in the position you are in when you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Family therapy can help you to take steps to reconnect with your family members. These sessions will occur in a neutral environment and only happen when the Legacy Healing team and you feel as though you are ready for them.

How Much Does Rehab Cost?

One of the common questions that we receive from clients that are interested in coming to Legacy Healing for treatment revolves around the cost associated with a treatment plan. It’s important to remember that your treatment plan and another client will likely be very different. Every person has different experiences in addiction, which means that a different approach must be taken with each person.

As a result, it’s impossible to predict your program’s exact cost before we have the opportunity to speak with you. If you are concerned about your treatment program’s cost of care, we encourage you to let us know. We believe that every person that genuinely wants to recover from addiction should have the opportunity to do so. Our team will do everything that they can so that you can get the care that you need. Keep in mind that we also accept and work with several private insurance companies, which can ease the financial burden.

How Does Drug Detox Work?

Detoxing from drugs is one of the critical factors in your overall recovery. You can’t formulate a solid recovery plan when you are still under the influence of drugs. This is one of the reasons why we will always suggest that a client first goes through our drug detox program if they are still struggling with active addiction when they first reach out to Legacy.

Most detox programs take roughly a week. During that week, it’s possible that due to your symptoms, you will not be able to properly take care of yourself, which is just one of the reasons you should always trust our team to help you during this part of your recovery.

How Does Alcohol Detox Work?

Our alcohol detox program’s premise is similar to that of our drug detox program in the sense that you need to be under the care of a medical professional that can monitor your symptoms as you begin to withdraw from alcohol. Unfortunately, it’s impossible to predict precisely how you will feel as you go through the detox process. Many clients complain of feeling extremely nauseous. Others experience severe headaches, while others go through a period of time where they feel shaky and anxious.

Regardless of the type of symptoms you feel, it’s never advisable that you go through the detox phase yourself. The entire detox process can last up to a week, with your symptoms peaking at between two and three days. During that time, it’s possible that you may find yourself in a position where you are unable to take care of yourself, which is just one more reason why we recommend that you come to Legacy for your detox program.

How Long Is Rehab?

The decision regarding the length of your treatment program is ultimately a decision that you make. It’s important to remember, however, that several factors should play into your decision. For example, you should always consider the severity of your addiction and if you have any limitations in terms of how long you can work with the Legacy Healing Center team. Our treatment programs run anywhere from 30 days, 60 days, all the way up to 90 days.

We always caution our clients to hold off on finalizing their decision until they have had the opportunity to speak with a member of our team. The reason for this is that there may be certain aspects about your recovery, life, and addiction that you may not have taken into consideration as you are going over your final decision. Our third-party objective take on your recovery can go a long way in making sure that you get the most out of your time with us. Also, your treatment plan can be extended at any point. For example, if you only initially feel comfortable enrolling in a 30-day program but you get to the end of your schedule, and you want to extend it, we are happy to help to accommodate.

Does My Insurance Have Coverage for Rehab?

The question of whether or not your private insurance will cover the cost of your treatment at Legacy Healing is specific to your coverage. Over the years, many insurance companies have expanded their coverage regarding addiction treatment due to the growing understanding that addiction is not someone asks for. Instead, it’s a disease that needs particular medical care. As a result, it’s possible that your insurance provider may completely cover your program’s cost or help offset it.

It’s important to remember that every insurance company is different when it comes to what they will cover. For example, suppose you were recently at another treatment facility. In that case, there is a possibility that you may need to wait a certain period of time before your insurance company will be willing to cover the cost of your stay at Legacy Healing.

Additionally, many other insurance companies may not cover the cost associated with a detox program. Remember, if you need help when it comes to determining what is covered under your insurance plan, just let us know. We are always happy to assist.
