Where Can I Find Help?

When you are ready to eradicate the influence of drugs from your life, it’s critical that you reach out to an experienced and trusted behavioral health facility. The Legacy Healing Center team is available around the clock to assist you in your journey toward a sober life.

What is Drug Rehab Like?

At Legacy Healing Center’s 30-day drug rehab, our team is committed to creating individualized treatment programs for each patient. We take the time to listen to your overall recovery goals so that we can provide you with the care that you need to achieve long-term sobriety.

A leading focus of your time at our facility will be taking part in various forms of therapy such as group and individual therapy. Group therapy helps you become accustomed to the 12-step meeting format that you will likely experience once you are done with rehab. 12-step meetings help you to determine the root cause of your addiction and connect you with other people that have struggled with addiction. We strongly encourage you to find 12-step meetings in Deerfield Beach once you are done with rehab. If you ever need assistance finding one, please reach out to us and we will help you.

Another type of therapy that you will experience on a regular basis is individual therapy which allows you to speak to one of our counselors in a one on one setting. During these meetings, you can discuss the possibility of taking part in other types of therapy that may suit your recovery needs. For example, it is not uncommon for individuals that suffer from addiction to also suffer from a mood disorder. Dialectical behavior therapy can help us to discover if you have a mood disorder and begin treatment.

What to Expect

An important aspect of recovery that you should consider before you begin your rehab journey is whether or not you should first go through our inpatient drug rehab program. Regardless of the length of your addiction, when you stop consuming your drug of choice, your body will likely experience a form of withdrawal. Withdrawal symptoms vary from patient to patient; however, common symptoms include nausea, anxiety, and shakiness. You should never attempt to detox unless you are under the supervision of a trained medical professional.

Another critical decision that you will need to make is whether you would like to take part in an outpatient or inpatient program. When you enroll in our inpatient program, you will live, eat, and take part in various forms of therapy at our facility. Our team provides you with access to healthy and nutritional food cooked by our top of the line chef as well as the opportunity to take part in exercise by working with a personal trainer.

Why Legacy?

The professionals at Legacy Healing Center take a unique approach to treatment. Not only do we provide you with a structured plan to help aid in your recovery, but we offer different avenues so that you can help put your life back together after struggling with addiction. Are you interested in continuing your education? Are you considering a change in careers once you are done with treatment? We can help. We can also incorporate different forms of therapy to suit your emotional and psychological needs. Examples include cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy and psychodynamic therapy.

One of the unique features of the Legacy Healing Center is our Addiction Aftercare program. We recognize that your journey toward sobriety is one that you will be on for the rest of your life which is why this program is designed to provide support to patients that completed their initial rehabilitation program. Through Addiction Aftercare, you have the opportunity to connect with fellow alumni and develop your own system of support.
